Todiramphus sanctus

Buff spot in front of eyes. Black band which extends from the eye to nape. White collar has a buff tinge. Crown is black and turquoise. Wings, rump and tail blue. In new plumage, underparts are scalloped and buff but turns whiter. Females are green above and juveniles have fine buff scallops.

We found this one trapped upstairs. So we took it in for overnight observation. Named it Obiwan since it looked like it had Jedi powers :O
