Porphyrio porphyrio poliocephalus
Fat-bodied purplish-blue crake with a small head and a massive reed bill and shield. White under the stumpy tail and wings are a greenish metallic blue. Long pinkish legs. Sexes are alike, though juveniles are greyer.
