Phalacrocorax fuscicollis

A medium sized black water bird. Slender neck and bill with yellowish or black throat patch, and a flat head. When in breeding plumage, they have a glossy bronze look and white ear tufts. Browner when in non-breeding plumage with a whitish throat. Juveniles are paler with mottled white under parts. Tail is shorter than the Little Cormorant. Seen around large water bodies. Holds wings open to dry.
