Agriocnemis pygmaea pygmaea

One of the smallest damselflies in Sri Lanka. Due to their size (1.6 cm) and colour they are easily overlooked (trust me on that one). Males have a greenish yellow abdomen with red anal appendages. Post ocular spots are small and pale green. Females come in a wide range of colours:
