Onychargia atrocyana

Males have a black thorax with faint blue stripes that run along it (these become darker with age). Segments 3 to 6 have narrow blue rings at the segment junctions. Thorax has a bluish tinge to it and eyes have a metallic blue hue. Females have a dark brown abdomen that thickens towards the anal end. Thorax has yellow stripes. Small lateral blue rings open on the dorsal side side along the abdomen. Black eyes with light brown stripe at the bottom. The faces of both sexes are very hairy. Males and females are 2.3 cm long.
